Future Shorts From Kabul to Tokyo, Cairo to Los Angeles, Athens to Baku and now Dubai – this is the next generation of film festivals, taking place in 55 countries, 150 cities, 270 screenings, with a 25,000 person audience.
We’re really excited to announce the launch of our MAKE tech/entrepreneurial event series. MAKE ignition is a dynamic and engaging platform for individuals involved in digital entrepreneurship to connect and exchange information and ideas. The event incorporates content from on-line entrepreneurs, industry professionals and aspiring web start-ups and is designed to provide knowhow, inspiration and connections to help MAKE it happen.
Adidas have hooked up with illustrator Alberto Antoniazzi to create their worldwide ‘Make Moves’ campaign. The project is designed to promote their ZX750 shoes. Working with Cubica in Italy, Alberto produced thirty ‘move’ illustrations for a sixty page booklet and other digital media. Fifteen of his illustrations were also re-used as stickers given away with the booklet.
Today we launch the first ever MAKE mix tape. Each month we will ask a musically minded tastemaker to pull together a new collection of tracks especially for us! – Music they are listening to while they work, play and create the cool concepts, which are moving our city. Music is a big part of the MAKE experience, when you visit the venue our diverse playlist helps to fertilize the seeds of innovation and fuel the energy within the space.
